Page Randomization

Randomizing the order in which questions and pages appear in a survey is a technique used to avoid 'order effect’. This is a type of response bias where answers given to earlier questions could influence the way people answer later questions. 

Randomizing Page Order

To randomize page order:

1. Open My Surveys
2. Hover over the survey and click the Settings icon next to Preview
3. On the left-hand Survey Settings menu, select Page Randomization
4. Under Page Randomization, select No randomization, Randomize pages or Flip pages
5. Under Randomization Settings, choose whether to randomize all pages or selected pages. If you choose Randomize Selected Pages, check the pages you wish to randomize.
6. Click Save Changes.
